01. How far in advance should I book?
For weddings I start booking 12-18 months in advance. For couples and boudoir, I recommend booking 3-4 months in advance. Arizona's busy season runs from September to April so for sessions during that time don't hesitate to reach out sooner! Actually, don't ever hesitate to reach out because if my schedule allows, I'm happy to make it work!
04. What if you get sick on our wedding day?
First things first—I’ve never missed a wedding due to illness (knock on wood!). But in the unlikely event that I’m too sick to attend, I’ll arrange for a trusted photographer to step in. They’ll capture your day, and I’ll handle all the editing afterward to make sure your photos still reflect the style and quality you hired me for.
02. What happens if we have to cancel/postpone our wedding?
If you’ve already paid a retainer and need to move or cancel your date, the retainer is non-refundable, but it can be transferred to a new date I’m available. If the new date doesn’t work with my schedule, the retainer remains non-refundable. I always recommend checking in with me before rescheduling to make sure I’m available!
03. How many images do you include?
Every shoot is different. Therefore I do not cap at a certain amount of photos! However, I always promise 75 photos per hour for weddings, couples, and engagements. For boudoir I promise 50 photos per hour.
05. How do we book you?
Just fill out the inquiry form, and I’ll send over all the details! To secure your date, a signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required.
08. Do you accept gratuity?
Absolutely, but it's not required at all! You have no idea how much I appreciate it but I also know that you're already investing your hard earned money into having this shoot!
06. DO you photograph lgbtq+ couples?
Absolutely! Here at Lacie Photography we believe that love is love! As a wedding photographer, I am passionate about capturing the love and joy of all couples, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. So yes, all are welcome and safe here!
07. What if we need to reschedule our session due to weather?
We can definitely reschedule if the weather is truly awful—but honestly, some of my favorite sessions have happened in the rain or wind! A little weather can add magic, movement, and emotion to your photos. If you're unsure, reach out and we’ll decide together what feels right.
