Watson Lake is a beautiful site to see! The rocky boulders surrounding the lake make for a unique and perfect setting for any engagement session. I remember in 2020, I headed to Watson Lake for the first time and instantly fell in love. It’s been a staple ever since!
All About Oriana + Matt
I met Ori and Matt at a wedding the year prior so I was so excited to go out to Watson Lake with them for their engagement session!
The two of them had met 5 years earlier when they were both at Junior College where they both played sports. Ori asked if he wanted to get ice cream and the rest is history. Now they were getting ready to get married out on a private property in Arizona and met up with me and their videographer Ivy Marie Photography and Videography at Watson Lake. I was so excited to have Ivy there cause I just knew these photos and her video were going to be amazing.
Watson Lake Engagement Session
Watson Lake can really give you two different photos all in one location! The boulders by themselves are awesome and I can’t compare it to anything else I have seen! I also love the lake with the rock formations off in the distance. The Lake would be perfect for fun sessions in a kayak, a boat, or even for standing in (you just can’t swim in Watson Lake).
Sunset here is so calming and definitely a site to see! When the sun dips behind the boulders it makes the sky so creamy and soft. If the water is calm the sunset reflects beautifully into the water. You can see how epic it is when Ori and Matt dip their toes in the water near the end of their engagement session!
