Where are all my sunset lovers at? Bonus points if you love “Sunset Lover” by Petit Biscuit cause same. Anyway, if you love sunsets you will LOVE this colorful wedding at The Rubi House just like I did!
Morgan and Kyle both grew up in Tucson, Arizona. They met in college, where Kyle was tutoring Morgan in math. After Morgan going almost every single day, Kyle asked if she would be interested in getting lunch and the rest is history!
After being together for almost 6 years now they are finally tying the knot at The Rubi House.
The Rubi House is located in downtown Tucson. It is a cute, historic building but has a modern feel with the black and white details. Morgan loved the simple colors of this venue so she could have all the colors she wanted in her dresses, florals, tables, etc. When I asked Morgan how she came up with her wedding color pallet, she told me that she found a sunset pallet and fell in love. All of her colors were pink, ruby red, coral orange, and black. Seeing all the details come together made me so so OBSESSED with Morgan and Kyle’s wedding!
The Rubi House has a bunch of different rooms. The bridal suite is perfect for getting ready. The girls were cracking jokes and having the best time! The guys were busy watching the basketball game and drinking with each other, so you could say everyone was relaxed and ready for the ceremony! Morgan got into her stunning dress by J Bridal Boutique. She then surprised her girls with a first look, and we finished off the getting ready with some portraits in front of the gorgeous windows.
This ceremony set up was one of my favorites cause you could really see the sunset color come to life! The Aisle had beautiful colorful florals near the entrance. The arch was a beautiful gradient of light purple to dark purple. On either side was a tower of more florals, which perfectly framed Morgan and Kyle. If you are wanting a colorful wedding I highly recommend taking a peek at their ceremony! Once they both made it down the aisle, they shared personal vows to each other. And then of course exchanged rings, said I do, and shared their first kiss as a married couple!
Near The Rubi House is a wall with Cacti which makes for a perfect backdrop for photos to get away from the cocktail hour.
After some amazing Mexican food, it was time for the toasts which always melt my heart. Toasts are some of my favorite because I love to hear how important the couple is to those around them! It may seem cheesy but it’s true (I am a June Cancer after all). There was a super fun photo spot that Morgan and her mom made! They found inspo on Pinterest and ran with it and it turned out amazing!
Next up was the cake cutting, which again had all the same florals to tie it perfectly to all the other decor. Morgan then changed into her second dress of the night which was a halter neck dress covered in sequins! Morgan and Kyle did their first dance and just spent the rest of the night with all their friends and family. It was the most beautiful day!
